- Anima: Gate of Memories is based on the Anima series of tabletop games (which includes roleplaying, miniature skirmish and card games).
- This game was funded by a Kickstarter campaign created by Kai Nesbit, CEO of Cipher Studios LLC (publishers of Anima Tactics). Backers pledged $110,664 (The original goal was $90,000).
- The Spanish development team, Anima Project, consists of three people: Carlos B. Garcia (series creator), Sergio Almagro Torrecillas and Miguel Hernandez Galarza. Saoud Janahi was made Executive Producer for pledging $10,000+ during the Kickstarter campaign
- Soundtrack and audio were produced by Sonotrigger
