Can't wait to hear it.  I usually listen on the way to work/at work/at home/when I go to sleep.

There was a cool breeze in the evening air, a window was open in the middle of winter. The mild day was soothing to the soul of a lone man. He could hear the pleased sounds of moaning in the distance, he looked out to see the serenely calm face of two men, one appeared to be Asian, the other was white. They were embroiled in the passionate embrace of lovemaking, the Asian known as Duke Togo and the mustachioed white man was Crabmaster2000. With disgust the man continued looking out his window, unable to look away despite his wrenching stomach.

Up in the tree the window watcher notices a short, sharp beam of light penetrate his pupils. He finally manages to turn his head away from the hot, sweaty man action to notice a Wild Bil filming the entire scene from above. The watcher's head is turned back to the two men rolling around on the ground, hearing the heightened moans of the ecstatic plateau. Duke and Crabby look each other in the eyes with pure love, begin a passionate make out session, tongues wrestling each other for dominance before the three all go inside to record Episode 11 of their completely unrelated podcast.

So, what are you saying here? that the CollectorCast is a sure-fire cure for insomnia?  :insomnia:

Oh great, now we've got people writing RF Generation yaoi fanfiction.

It's true what they say about Rule 34:

NO EXCEPTIONS.

May as well commission someone on DeviantArt to illustrate the deal while you're at it.

Listen Crabby, 32X isn't a trend, it's a lifestyle.  Like the 32x library, we're an exclusive group of people.  Too high brow for most collectors to understand.  It's cool if you don't like it, just don't hate it.  Why do you gotta hate what you don't understand?

I saw him when he played at the county fair about 15 years back, about a year after Alapalooza dropped.

At one point he broke into a non-polka medley of bits of song parodies he probably wanted to make full songs out of, but couldn't get permission from the artists. That was the most interesting part of the concert for me: hearing snippets of song parodies that could have been... like It's Laundry Day, to the tune of the Offspring's Come Out and Play.

I beat Resident Evil 4 on the Wii and the Cube and if someone is a HUGE Resident evil fan i could see why they would not like it since it is very much unlike every game before it.

EDIT
TUROK 2 SEED OF EVIL
CEREBRAL BORE WAS THE BEST WEAPON POTENTIALLY EVERY MADE!

EDIT 2
Sonic Adventure 2 > Sonic Adventure

EDIT3
Mortal Kombat vs. Marvel would be so much better than the T rated sadness that was MKvs.DCU.
The upcoming Injustice game looks great though.... even if it is going to be rated T again.

EDIT4
I have not invested any amount of time into a GTA game since PSX.

You did not mention the best part of the beginning of the RevX
You are watching the video of Tyler that THROWS YOU CAR KEYS to his his car.

I can't remember if it is the PSX or SNES version but you can actually get the game locked in an infinite loop to run your score up on the first level.

I was hooked on them after playing 2. 4 Was such a huge disappointment for me when it came out. It wouldn't bother me so much if it didn't have the RE name attached to it. I even have a dog named Wesker (which is generally hilarious when I tell people). I'm curious about these rumors that RE Revelations is coming to consoles. I played the demo for it on RE Mercenaries and it seems like a return to what I love about the series.

Okay, this is totally unrelated to gaming, but I heard you guys mentioning a few names like "Macho Man" and WWF/WWE.  Sounds like someone use to dabble in a little pro wrestling.  Maybe I am wrong.  Anyways to clear things up:  Miss Elizabeth and Randy Savage split up in the mid or late 90's.  She was actually dating Lex Luger when she died of a drug overdose.  Savage was remarried and had a heart attack while driving down the highway in FL.  I believe the heart attack is what killed him.  Wow, that sounds depressing.....on a lighter note, here is a video of me refereeing a match with a certain someone you may recognize, if you watched wrestling in the mid or late 90's........

Oh, and don't feel bad, I still smell the insides of my strategy guides.  Just a heads up, if I buy one from anyone here please don't decide to leave me a souveneir by farting in said strategy guide.

The first GS i went to locally was marked as low stock but when i got their they tried to sell me the stick that was bundled with Mortal Kombat Tournament(which is 70$s i think.) and had no clue what i was talking about when i specified this one. Even when i showed them the picture of it on their site.

So it might be worth calling ahead to make sure they have the right one if any of them are a long jaunt.

i love the part about standing around admiring your collections, i totally do that too. once in a while i just stand there, or wheel over my computer chair, staring in awe at all the games. that also happens every time i'm trying to decide a new game to play, because i get really indecisive when i'm given so much choice, so i sometimes spend 15-20 minutes just looking.

I should have noted that the guys didn't need to itemize my pick-ups just because I donated to the site.  It's cool to spark conversation on some of the games, but I don't want my scores to bore the listeners.  40 minutes of the most slow rolling iTunes conversation ever.  Wait, is the 700 Club on iTunes?  I think that mentioning the HOW acquired is usually more important, considering I grab large lots of small scores.  Noting what we get from other members is also important.

Big wrestling fan, so I enjoy playing all the WWF/WWE games from the different eras.  Favorite wrestler - Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.  That's cool that Johnny Nintendo used to ref.  I did some ring training with a few wrestlers from NWA Georgia and the Carolina organization that spawned the Hardy Boys years ago.  It was an awesome experience, but I'm too short & skinny to have any hope in making it.

The PAL PS1:

The TI-99/4A - with the Duke Togo seal of approval.  We had them in all of our classrooms in elementary school, so we could learn our math with Meteor Multiplication and Dragon Division.  It was the first computer I'd ever used.  And since I modded the video cable, I can play mine on my big screen.  46" of Parsec!  When you can buy an entire system for less than the price of a new game, you should consider finding one.

I'm glad to spark interest in anything Atari, including those cool Hot Wheels cars.  Like Duke, that was the system of my early childhood.

Post by: Duke.Togo on January 20, 2013, 07:57:00 PM
The small scores was a tad detailed, but we really wanted to drive donations. Maybe some other souls that do want to get talked about a lot will throw in large sums of cash. Still a few days left in the donation drive!

Parsec is pretty fun, even today. The TI was my first computer, and wow I remember spending tons of hours typing in pretty complex BASIC programs out of magazines.

Holy crap, even I couldn't believe how much stuff I grabbed in that period.

BTW the reason I didn't include any Nerf scores was... I didn't have any. In fact, I'm downsizing my collection. Figured I should focus more on another hobby.

@Techie Hey, are you near GA?  I don't think I mentioned it, but after the Reffing, I went on to wrestle for a few years.  You are right though, being 150 lbs. and 5'7'' doesn't help.  I think there is a short clip on YouTube of me getting hit with a backbreaker.  If you ever want to find it, look up Penny Koloff or Kolloff, I can't remember how it was spelled on there.  Anyway, I was the "great nephew" of Ivan Koloff.  The Moscow Mauler.....The Siberian Strangler......   The Crushin' Russian.......PENNY KOLOFF!    Wait.....this is a retro gaming site right?!

EDIT:  Oh, and I had a blanket with a hole in it too, but it wasn't for a controller cord....

Yaa! Game sniffing is cool!!

Lol at the RPG blankie

Do you have one too or is it just me?

My mom has been making quilts for several years now and I've actually talked to her about making me a special RPG blankie with a small hole in it for the controller cord to pass through. One day......

i think it's just you XD i do play with a blanket if it's cold, but i don't have a special blanket for games lol

I was stationed in NC for a few years, but I did spend some time in GA.  The only role I played in a live show was that a buddy that was wrestling one night at the Sanford Armory told everyone in the locker room that I was a scout for the WWF.  He didn't tell me until after the show, so I kept wondering why everyone was looking my way during their walk-ins.  And the out-of-ring stuff kept happening right in front of me.  Personally, it made for a great show where I was sitting.

Congrats to Bill, my alias is indeed Japanese and he pronounce it correctly. It means "Uncle Ferg" in Japanese, which is what I am to my niece and nephews. I thought "Uncle Ferg" sounded a little creepy. And I am, of course, Polish.

Hmm...  Well, there's this-.  Nope, forgot already.  Oh, now I remember.  I really hope once the donation drive finishes you guys still talk about the small scores as much as you just did.  I like the issues that are part of the discussion, but I love hearing you guys gush on about the scores.  Makes me want to hit the thrifts during my lunch break.

I beat Resident Evil 4 on the Wii and the Cube and if someone is a HUGE Resident evil fan i could see why they would not like it since it is very much unlike every game before it.

Revalations is coming to my Wii U soon!!!

That's right, you whippersnappers! We were takin' a listen to 'im on cassette back in the day! I'll bet none of you even know what cassettes are, what with your digital downloads and all.

And he had a mustache back in the day that made him goofy-lookin' as all get out! Then he shaved it off and looked like a serial killer.

You young'uns today just don't know how good you have it.

Please don't let me walk away with it. I don't really want to win. I want to come in second. My goal is just to keep raising the price so the winner has to pay bunches of money. The plan is to donate regardless of winning.

Besides you don't want to hear me talk, I mumble and talk too quiet. Also, no one ever accused me of being blessed with extra words to speak. Generally my tactic is to ask questions which get the other person talking. For example, I would ask Crabmaster about hockey, Duke about his latest adventures in emulation and Bill about his goals in proper pronunciation.

Well, I dropped a hint to Dr. Demento himself that he should have on his radio show this strange kid from Lynwood who performs these goofy songs.

A kid who I tutored so well, he graduated high school at age 16.

I used to be the club DJ - the only guy on the mic.  If I were to take the high bid, I might have to get cut off or mistakenly take over the conversation.  Maybe the temptation means I'll get a message outside of the auction for air time, but the target listener has definitely changed since my DJing days.

You should have seem the look my wife gave me when I broached the idea of "winning" the donation drive.  It warped my glasses and erased my latest Zelda save.  Probably better for everyone, really.  Still, I might try the buttering approach:  Maybe clean the garage and the basement.  And shave.  That might help.

Making list of things to talk about:

Holla at Retrorage, and probably Techwizard too

Ask Crabmaster about his crab army

   Explain what PNW means

Make sure everyone knows to greet Izret in chat like this, "Izret! Izret! Izret! Izret!"
