2017 RF GENERATION SITE DONATION DRIVE
It's that time of year again, and we are currently in the midst of another site donation drive. Donations have been great so far, but we are still going to need YOUR support to reach our goal this month. Giving back to a good cause such as RF Generation helps us provide you we an awesome collection/cataloguing service that is cost and advertisement free so that you can streamline your collecting goals! What better cause is there to throw there to throw a few bucks at? And did I mention the prizes?
For the past two years, our staff has donated some fabulous raffle prizes for our fund drive and this year is no exception! Lots have been put together and can now be viewed
HERE. Remember that for EACH $10 you donate you will receive a ticket and your name will be entered into a raffle held at the end of the month.
Thanks to all who have donated so far this year. If you haven't donated yet, click on this link and give what you can:

MARCH 2017 PLAYTHROUGH ANNOUNCEMENT
Playthrough host singlebanana is back to host his first game since hitting the ripe age of 40. So what better way to celebrate this momentous occasion than by picking a retro title that is
as old not nearly as old as he is. If you're a current PC gamer, or even one from "back in the day," you are going to appreciate this month's selection. So in March, grab a controller or preferably a mouse, dim the lights, throw on some Metal, and prepare to explore the depths of Hell with the Playcast crew as we play the original
Diablo on the PC and PS1. This hack and slash, action roleplaying game was revolutionary when it hit the scene in North America at the latest part of 1996 (December 31st actually!). In this epic dungeon crawler, you can choose from a few distinct classes of characters, acquire new items and weapons, learn new spells, and dispatch all sorts of ghoulish enemies on your way to your final encounter with the fire beast, Diablo. Unlike other dungeon crawlers before its time, participants in
Diablo will enjoy randomly generated dungeons that are sure to keep adventurers on their toes. So what are you waiting on, sign up today?..............seriously, you're not rockin' out and slaying demons yet?
We hope that you are as excited about this pick as we are! Please join us by signing up on our discussion thread located
HERE.

SITE PODCAST HOSTING: IT'S HERE!
In continuing with our goal to improve the site, the site directors recently looked into helping out the podcasts by setting up hosting. With the help of some talented staff members, this goal was achieved a few weeks ago and now you can find your favorite shows here at HOME! Hosting is still in it's early stages, so the page layouts and several features are still under construction. So, be part of the fun, check it out now, and watch it grow!
Currently, all episodes of the
Collectorcast are now housed here at
http://www.rfgeneration.c...m/podcasts/collectorcast/ or you can be redirected by simply going to their homepage at
http://www.collectorcast.com/. You can find all the new episodes from Duke.Togo, Crabmaster2000, and wildbil52, as well as, all the older achieved episodes in case you want to start from Day 1.
Speaking of blowing the dust off some old podcasts, be sure to check out
RF Generation Nation. This classic podcast features long-time members slacker and bickman2k who bring you the latest (err....some older) news regarding the site and the goings on in the video game industry. It's a great show, so check it out! You can find it at:
http://www.rfgeneration.com/podcasts/rfgnation/. (Any possibility of bringing it back guys?)
The Playcast has not yet been moved over, so new and old episodes can still be found at: https://rfgenplaycast.podbean.com/----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
