We interrupt your regularly scheduled pot o' gold tracking to bring you the March 2021 edition of RF Generation's Site News! In this issue, we hold the raffle for our Annual Fund Drive, announce our April Community Playthrough title, reveal our shoot 'em up club game, and of course, thank those members who sent in submissions to our site and registered approvals last month. Thanks for keeping it on Channel 3 and please continue to keep you and your loved ones SAFE!

REMEMBER: If you have any news about upcoming events or topics that you think the site needs to hear about, please PM singlebanana and put "RFG Site News" in the subject line.  Who knows, maybe your news will make our front page!

APRIL 2021 COMMUNITY PLAYTHROUGH

In April, we tweak genres as we move from an RPG title to a more modern, "actiony" RPG known as Transistor.  Developer Supergiant Games is famous for it's action/role-playing titles from its very successful 2011 release, Bastion, to its very popular 2020 release, Hades, and next month's title promises to be no slouch either.  In Transistor, you take on the role of Red, a famous singer in the city of Cloudbank. While the city is attacked by the Process, a robotic force commanded by a group called the Camerata, Red manages to escape. She soon comes to possess the mysterious Transistor, a great sword-like weapon, she finds buried into the chest of a dead man. Though deceased, his consciousness and voice seem to have been absorbed into the Transistor itself along with Red's voice. The Camerata continue to track Red and the Transistor down with the Process, wanting the weapon for some yet-unknown cause. Are you up to the challenge to thwart their plans?

Transistor is available on the Switch, PS4, Windows, and iOs, so be sure to purchase your physical copy or download it today.

If you're playing Transistor along with us in April, be sure to join our forum HERE to discuss the game with fellow site members.

APRIL 2021 SHMUP PLAYTHROUGH

The seal that was placed by the gods has finally been broken. Out of the broken seal emerged the Evil Dragon Vritra, feared as the manifestation of the great evil that engulfs heaven and earth.

Vritra's return spawned evil creatures and cast a cloud of despair over the world, bringing it to the brink of total decay.
Sensing the aura of his arch-enemy Vritra, the Hero God Indra clutched the treasure Vajra and headed to Earth.

The countless wars of the gods that have been fought since ancient times is about the begin again.

Join the RF Generation Shmup Club in April 2021, as we take on Vritra Complete Edition for PC! Check out a trailer for the game here:
