APRIL 2021 COMMUNITY PLAYTHROUGH

In April, we tweak genres as we move from an RPG title to a more modern, "actiony" RPG known as
Transistor. Developer Supergiant Games is famous for it's action/role-playing titles from its very successful 2011 release,
Bastion, to its very popular 2020 release,
Hades, and next month's title promises to be no slouch either. In
Transistor, you take on the role of Red, a famous singer in the city of Cloudbank. While the city is attacked by the Process, a robotic force commanded by a group called the Camerata, Red manages to escape. She soon comes to possess the mysterious Transistor, a great sword-like weapon, she finds buried into the chest of a dead man. Though deceased, his consciousness and voice seem to have been absorbed into the Transistor itself along with Red's voice. The Camerata continue to track Red and the Transistor down with the Process, wanting the weapon for some yet-unknown cause. Are you up to the challenge to thwart their plans?
Transistor is available on the Switch, PS4, Windows, and iOs, so be sure to purchase your physical copy or download it today.
If you're playing
Transistor along with us in April, be sure to join our forum
HERE to discuss the game with fellow site members.

APRIL 2021 SHMUP PLAYTHROUGH

The seal that was placed by the gods has finally been broken. Out of the broken seal emerged the Evil Dragon Vritra, feared as the manifestation of the great evil that engulfs heaven and earth.
Vritra's return spawned evil creatures and cast a cloud of despair over the world, bringing it to the brink of total decay.
Sensing the aura of his arch-enemy Vritra, the Hero God Indra clutched the treasure Vajra and headed to Earth.
The countless wars of the gods that have been fought since ancient times is about the begin again.
Join the RF Generation Shmup Club in April 2021, as we take on Vritra Complete Edition for PC! Check out a trailer for the game here:
