OCTOBER 2016 PLAYTHROUGH ANNOUNCEMENT

This October, we once again return to the beautifully horrific and mystic world of Castlevania as we play one of the seminal titles from the series called.........Whuuuu....What?? What's that Floyd? We're changing it up this year? Well okay.
*Uh Hmmm* (opens secret ballot).
And the choice for October's Community playthrough is........*drumroll*......*awkward silence*......*more drumroll*.......
Shadow of Destiny (also known as
Shadow of Memories in Japan and on the PSP)!
In
Shadow of Destiny, you guide the main character, a 22-year-old named Eike Kusch, as he travels through time to unmask the person who murdered him. The gameplay consists of searching through the local town for clues and manipulating items from multiple pasts (going back as far as the 1580's) to affect the future. When the clock strikes at the time of Eike's death, the chapter restarts, and if your character is not in his time period at the time of his death, the game ends. The runtime for the game is around 4 hours, but has 8 different possible endings to encourage replay.
Shadow of Destiny has a grim and tangled plot, which should whet your thirst this spooky Halloween season! Who's the killer(s)?? Let's all find out together this October.
This October's RF Generation playthrough is sure to give you the chills. You don't want to miss out on this one, so sign up

RWX: IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!
RetroWorld Expo is right around the corner. Any RFGeneration member planning on attending is invited to a special RFGen meetup at the humble home of wildbil52 on Thursday, October 13th. There will be food, drink, indoor and outdoor games, and the New York Rangers open their season against the NY Islanders so at least one TV will be tunes into that. If you're not able to meet up at Bil's house, no worries, just stop by the RF Generation table at RWX and say hello. Who knows, you might get invited to go out for mashed potato pizza!
Visit this thread, and let us know if you plan to attend:
http://www.rfgeneration.c...topic=17432.msg242158#newAlso, there will be some fun games for attendees this year. One of these is a
Family Feud-style game. Please be a sport and help our old pal wildbil52 with the survey below. Please refrain from being a comedian (yes, I'm looking in your direction Zag...) and help them come up with some serious answers for their participants. Thanks! Here is the link to the survey:
