Finally got an email back from my shelving guy. It reads like so:

"Hey. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Congrats on the newhouse. I would love to hang out. Build some shelves and shoot stuff. The next couple weeks are a little busy but I can stop by on Saturdayfor a bit and we can come up with a plan for the shelves and set up atime to hang and build them. It will be fun. Let me know if thisSaturday work. And what time."

So i'll know more on Saturday after we discuss things a bit. Just a bit of positive news I thought I'd share with you guys.

Oooh, so you're going to have custom shelves made? That'll be awesome! Smiley

Thats the plan. About 6 or 7 months ago we were chatting and he said he would love to come help me put up some customs shelving for my games, but I had to wait until we got our new house. Im quite happy he is still interested in it because honestly custom shelving can be like a million times more awesome than store bought ones.

Plus he's going to try and let me do as much of the work as im comfortable doing (im a horrible woodworker, and hes a carpenter) so that I can feel some accomplishment that wouldnt be there with store bought stuff. Hes basically going to be my supervisor on this project. Ill be looking to him for type of wood, tools, help cutting and assembling and any other help im not even aware of.

congrats, that sounds awesome Crabmaster2000!
