Well, it's been a while since I've done one of these! I was replaying Final Fantasy VII recently, and this track really stood out to me when it played in the game. I've heard it plenty of times while listening to the soundtrack on its own, but something about hearing it in the context of the game really made it hit that much harder. On the Other Side of the Mountain is already a pretty straightforward acoustic piece, so my cover is just a 1:1 recreation. Nothing fancy, no frills, just a quick playthrough of a nice tune. A little bit different from my usual metal covers, but I hope you all enjoy this one just the same!

That's an underrated song for sure, nice to see it get some love. When all you have at hand is an acoustic guitar "Interrupted by Fireworks", "Descendant of Shinobi" and this one are all good choices.
@kaysow: Ah yes, Interrupted by Fireworks is a favorite of mine, and Descendant of Shinobi is a great tune also. Will definitely have to try to work those in the rotation sometime. Thanks for watching!
Very nice. I don't even remember this particular track from FFVII, but the simple acoustic vibe works for this sort of lightly melancholic song, at least based on your interpretation.
@MetalFRO: Thanks man! Yeah, I've had quite a few people tell me they don't remember this track at all. It's only heard once fairly late into the game, so it's not too surprising many people don't remember it. It really caught my attention during my recent playthrough of the game though, hence the cover! Cheesy
