Posted under Michael Jackson, Remembering Tribute

As most of us have known, Michael Jackson, known as the King of Pop, has passed away yesterday. So as a (sort of) fan of him, I thought I will put a mention in this blog so everyone in the RFGen community will give his respects. It's such a shame for me because I love all his songs and his dance moves, and I also think both the Moonwalker games and film were good. It was actually midnight here in the UK when I first heard the news, my sister showed me on her PC the live broadcast with thousands of people standing outside LA Hospital.

It's more of a shame for us British fans of Michael since he was planning a tour here and promised it to be his last (or at least hinted it because the caption was "This is it") and because of this tragedy that tour has now ended before it begun.

It is so sad that he never did get his chance to say good bye. I grew up with Michael, his music, his film clips, movie and games (which he played a big part in the creation of). It was so great growing up as a fan of both Sega & MJ as it was like a dream come true when they partnered up, not just for the Moonwalker games but his influence on the music of other Sega games like Sonic 3 could also be heard.

I have a blog tucked away I use purely for game dev posts but was so saddened by this I broke away from my normal format and made a post about his passing as well.

R.I.P. MJ
You will be missed by many.

I am a MJ fan no doubt. He will be missed. I will always remember him for his music and awesome moves.

so...no one is going to remeber him for the other things?....the thing he was accused of twice?

Well to be blunt I hate media whores who believe anything they see on TV.
He was accused twice and found innocent twice but of course the innocent find isn't hyped up because it isn't juicy enough for the media. When such claims are made you have to go through a very lengthy & humiliating process of having to have naked pictures taken of yourself and samples taken. Due to no connection whatsoever there was no case. But of course that doesn't matter does it?

So will I remember him for claims against him that were made up by horrible parents trying to use their children as a tool in their plot to get money? No.

Will I remember you as a fuck wit? Yes.

@Cobra:Here Here! Smiley

@Link41: His music far outweighs all of that media hyped crap.

@Sirgin:and his dance moves

@Link41: I will. Don't care if he is innocent or guilty it's nearly impossible not to remember the media raping of this poor guy who's entire life was made public. But I'll remember him more for his artistic contributions to music and dance.

@yassassass:I'm glad someone thinks so
