I am definitely much more in agreement with your friend then your list. Super Mario 64 at the bottom, and Sunshine ranked so high? It's all a matter of taste, but I though 64 was fantastic for its time.

I loved the format you guys wrote this out in. Easily listed with short, sweet and to the point justifications at to why you put the right games in the wrong spots.
Nice to see Super Mario Bros 2 rank fairly high on both of your lists though.

So long as they give an interesting and compelling reason why they feel the way they do, I enjoy reading the opinions of people whose viewpoints stray from the consensus. I guess it's the "devil's advocate" in me that actively seeks out different takes on things. While I might not fully agree with the sentiment, I might just see something that'll make me say to myself, "I hafta admit, he's got a good point there..."
The while not necessarily "point-counterpoint," I even dug the side-by-side comparison format. And you even did it without resorting to some childish flame-warfare. hey, just 'cuz video games are associated with the kids, it doesn't mean you hafta act like one.
That having been said: YOU RANKED SMW ABOVE SMB3?! WHAT THE #ELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!!! You freakin SUCK you big fat neener head!!! I'm not talking to you ever again!!!
