Also known as the Game Developer's Conference, it is now one of the more, if not the most important gaming expo / conference now that E3 is a shell of its former self. All the major gaming outlets cover it intensely. We here at RF Generation wish to be just like those other outlets, and that is why we'll be posting news and information that we deem worthy. Certainly, no one on our staff is at GDC, but that doesn't mean we can't post the news as we hear it.

So, it is likely that there will be plenty of news to come out of this year's GDC. Is there anything you want to hear? Is there anything you expect to hear? Certainly, for me there is, and perhaps there is for you as well.

Wii Ware. It's that thing that Nintendo talks about, and we sometimes hear about games being announced for it, but other than that, things are quiet on the front of the Wii Ware. There seems to be some neat games coming out for Wii Ware, but when and for how much? Certainly, I want to play the brains out of Eternity's Child, but I want to know how much it's going to set me back and for how much it will set me back. Well, I hope and expect that Nintendo will detail the Wii Ware service at GDC. I want it to come out sooner rather than later, and hopefully Nintendo will deliver on that.

Rock Band. Recently, Rock Band was announced for the Wii. That's about all we know about that. For a Wii owner who would certainly love to play Rock Band, I'd like to know a bit more about the game. Will it be castrated like the PS2 version, or will it be similar to the 360 and PS3 versions? Inquiring minds want to know. Don't hold out on us, EA.

Spore. It's been in development forever, and it finally has a release date. Tell us some juicy information, Mr. Wright. This game has the potential to be pure awesome, but I need to know more about the game before I can further shape my opinion.

So, you've seen the three things that I am interested in, so now, what do you want to hear? What don't you want to hear? Certainly there will be some juicy bits of information that will come out of GDC, the question is will it or will it not interest you?

This is where my thoughts go and are never heard from again.

Well, maybe not, but this is the repository for all of my published thoughts and rantings. It'll make my day if you find at least 10% of it amusing and enjoyable to read.

Sorry for the other 90%.
