just watched....

Ocean's Twelve:  Ocean's Trilogy Collectible Giftset (HD-DVD) - (2004) - B

Reason for score -- eh, 11 was the best....12 was okay...but, the image was horrific for an HD....Warner Bros. really failed on this set....this image was worse than 11 which is bad for a newer movie....

Laws of Attraction - (2004) - B

Predictable but enjoyable chick flick with Pierce Brosnan and Julianne Moore.

watching now....

Disney's Sleeping Beauty:  50th Anniversary:  Two-Disc Platinum Edition (Blu-Ray) - (1959) - C

Reason for score -- wow, Blu-Ray really ruined a classic.....the colors were so bright and blinding, the movie actually hurt to watch....and looked terrible in the process.  everything just looked one colored and blocky.....

just watched....

Ocean's Thirteen:  Ocean's Trilogy Collectible Giftset (HD-DVD) - (2007) - B+

Reason for score -- not as good as 11, better than 12, plus the image quality was the best of the 3.....

History channel.

They have been running "ancient tech" shows.
It is pretty amazing how much technology we had to rediscover over the last couple hundred to thousand years.

Yes, the Romans and Chinese were remarkably advanced.
Sadly enough, uncivilized people from the North pretty much wiped out the Roman empire; and the giant Chinese empire was lead by 1 person (=the emperor, duh)

Both were negative for these empires.

Religion helped destroy Rome just as much as the "barbarians" did Wink

Tried to watch a couple of the Watchers movies on SciFi but could get into them. I didn't even know they existed.

Ended up watching Cities of the Underworld and some shows about "historical" vampires.

Yeah, that's true. The religion sort of came along with the barbarians. Tongue

On topic:

The Pacifier - (2005) - B

Comedy with Vin Diesel, enjoyable to watch.

License To Kill - (1989) - C-

I just couldn't stay interested.
