my wife and I went to Freedom Hill Amphitheater last night and saw Pat Benatar. She was one of my favorites back in the 80's. I still have all the old records. It was a good show and cheap too. we paid $10 bucks total.
the openening act was a band called Opera. I've never heard of them but the singer was a girl named Martika. yes, that Martika, early 90's one hit wonder of "Toy Soldiers" fame.

Cool, I hate when the older bands charge really high ticket prices because the figure the crowd will be older and can afford it. From what I remember Pat held up pretty well thru the years too. Back in the day I aways wanted to "hit her with my best shot", if you know what I mean.
