iPad/tablet users: easiest way to make collection portable offline?

Not sure if this has ever been covered, but as a soon-to-be-iPad owner I'd love to find a way to transform my collection here into something portable. I won't be paying for network coverage so it needs to be something that would be available offline.
Is there any easy way to do this?

EDIT: forgot there was an "export" link on the collection page. I think I can get it from there.
But, if someone has a better way to do this, or tips on how to make it more functional, please let me know.
