This one wasn't on my buying radar until yesterday when I watched the 2 tech demos they had available for free on XBL Marketplace.

I had pegged this one as a standard survival-horror game but it looks to be much more than that! What they showed was very MacGuyver-ish in that your character can use many ordinary objects (and combinations of such) for multiple uses in interacting with the environment and/or with enemies. And the AI responds to it accordingly.

As someone that's never played an AITD game before, it left me impressed for this new version. Cool

Alone in the Dark is one of the classic adventure games and pretty much set the standard for all survival horror games to follow. Even though it was released in 1992 or so, it's still one of the scariest games you'll ever play in your life.

Now as far as the new Alone in the Dark goes, I'm really liking what Eden Games and Atari are doing with it. It looks incredibly smart and innovative. Can't wait to play it.

I have no interest in the movie.

How's this for a start to June...as of this writing, all the following games are targeted to come out on June 2, 2008 according to EBGames for the 360:

Alone in the Dark
Unreal Tournament 3
Ninja Gaiden 2
Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution

Damn!
