Posted under RFG Thanks, Site News, March, 2011

It's a bit past the end of March. March, was a great month. We have tons of submissions from you guys. Without the submissions of our staff and members, we truly are nothing. For that, we are grateful.

We'd like to take this moment to thank those submitters who made a major difference in the month of March. Overall, the community made 873 submissions. All of you deserve a huge pat on the back for that. Our top five submitters were Apolloboy, NES_Rules, Shadow Kisuragi, Necrosaro, and tigerhandheld1989 Congrats on being the top five! Of course, if you made a submission and weren't in the top five please know that we are also very grateful for your submissions as well.

Similarly, we have staff members that must approve member submissions. Last month, ApolloBoy made the most number of approvals! Of course, every other reviewer contributed as well, and we are very grateful for that as well.

Thank you so much all! You guys make RF Generation what it is! Keep submitting strong! Without you guys we are nothing!

What is the average number of submissions one typically has to make in a month to get in the top five?

Not that I have a snowflake's chance in a blast furnace of making the top five; I'm just curious...

Thanks everyone!

@Zagnorch: You can check the top five (and see where you sit in the standings) on the Submission Stats page (its under the Submit tab at the top of the page). It varies greatly month to month, some months, 50 may get you in the top 5, other months it may be 200+.

@NES_Rules:
I think it's time again to have another submission blitz - last year's was won by Aeroc, hands down, with 1500+ submissions.

In one month, outside of the submission blitz, I had 800 submissions and came 4th. I'm surprised as hell that I was on that list of submissions, as I've barely been touching anything but approvals and making edits off other submissions in the past month.

@Shadow Kisuragi:
I also wanted to call out ApolloBoy, who's often on the Top 5 Submissions and Top Approvals. There's rarely a day that goes by that he's not adding things to the database - thanks for all the help, Apollo.

Congrats everyone!
