After a month-long fight through the night exploring Dracula's castle, we have arrived at a new frontier. Join RF Generation in an outer space sci-fi Community Playthrough in November. This time we invite you to play the Super Nintendo classic, Super Metroid and the cult PC hit, System Shock 2.

A young Metroid specimen has been kidnapped from the Galactic Federation science colony by Ridley and his Space Pirates! Battle through the caverns of Zebes again to recover the Metroid from the rebuilt Space Pirate facility. Another amazing title to tackle this month, so please join us for Super Metroid on the SNES in the Retro Community Playthrough.

Board the Von Braun Space Station in 2114 to battle wits with Shodan, a rogue A.I., in the spiritual prequel to BioShock. System Shock 2 is a tough as nails PC only game released in 1999, just over the verge to be considered modern. This Ken Levine cult classic is heralded as being way ahead of its time, and you'll be shocked at just how deep and complex of a game it is. So join the Modern Playthrough Group this November for their playthrough of System Shock 2

As always, a sweet selection of games.  Do you play Retro or Modern?  Both?  In my case, I no longer own of the games, so it is a rather easy choice.

Role Playing games are my favourite genre of the gaming library. I feel it is appropriate to take a look at the games that have touched me in my time as a gamer and collector and share them with the community. Feel free to discuss your thoughts, ideas, and challenge my opinions. The conversation is welcomed.
