2017 was a great year for gaming, with a number of huge, critically acclaimed releases like Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, and Horizon Zero Dawn... most of which you won't find on my personal list. I played 30 new releases this year and these are the 10 that stood out the most. There's a wide variety of games here from smaller indie titles to AAA shooters, expansive RPGs, and even some hidden gems.

Great list Pam!  Thanks for sharing.

There's a couple games on there I've been meaning to get to but just haven't had a chance. What Remains of Edith Finch for example. I think the only one on that list I played was Cuphead, and yeah, incredible game. Love that 30s cartoon art style; so gorgeous and well done.

I really dig your list.  It usually takes a number of years for me to get to the games of today, but several games on your list might have to get pushed up a bit, specifically Wolfenstein II, the new Divinity game, and Cuphead.  I'm afraid I dismissed all of those games initially as "more of the same" but now I think I might have to reconsider.  Thanks for sharing, Pam.

Thanks everyone, glad you enjojyed it
