I thought I would record my first 20 turns of Civilization Beyond Earth just in case any RFGenners would care to join me in learning the game.

I've played a whole bunch of Civ V so I'm familiar with the formula but I do explain some basic things as I play so if you are looking to get into the game, this might be a good place to start.  If anyone finds the video helpful or interesting, please let me know and I will record another video continuing this game.

i don't have time to watch the whole thing but skimmed through and the video looks good as well as the game! i love V even though i didn't play a huge amount, if i ever have time maybe we could play a game.

Mos def.  There are lots of civ v similarities but it still feels like it's own game.

Cool!  I\'ve added this to my \"Watch Later\" list for tonight when I try to get my kids asleep.  I\'ve also subbed your channel.Civ is a series that I\'ve always wanted to get into, but for some reason it\'s never happened, even after that story ran about the ten year-old Civ II game broke out (The Eternal Way, I think it is called).  Still, every six months or so I install Civ IV (I think that is the version I own) and give it a go.

Like many of the people who visit this site, I am a lifelong gamer who loves and appreciates classic gaming as well as the current generation. When I started collecting games, I realized that some of the stories of my collecting might be interesting, educational, or just plain funny. The stories that I share here are meant to entertain as well as inform and they are all 100% true, which is why I include pictures.
