Finally, I found these among a bunch of regular audio tapes.  I know very little about Supercharger games, so any info about them would be greatly appreciated.    Sword Of Saros, Party Mix, Dragonstomper, And Escape From The Mindmaster Supercharger Tape Games  $.25 each

Alright me amigo. What you have here are some Supercharger games for the Atari 2600. You played them with the Supercharger accessory, which went into the 2600 and connected to a tape deck, which is where the cassette went. Dragonstomper and EFTM are fairly common and don't command a whole lot since they are not CIB (under $10).  Party Mix is one of the rarer, later releases and even in it's current state, can get you a decent price. The Sword of Saros is your best find and is the rarest of your games. I've never seen a box for it, nor is one posted on AtariAge. I don't believe there ever was a box made for this title, but there were instructions produced. I think it was a very late run and didn't have much circulation. I almost have a complete licensed Starpath set and would be interested in purchasing/trading for this cassette if you have any interest. Smiley

First, sorry that I took so much time to reply, and thanks for the info.  It's very much appreciated, as even if I don't have much interest in the collecting of such games, I like knowing as much as I can about our shared hobby in as many respects as possible.  You never know when that knowledge may come in handy.

And yes, I'd be interested in doing a trade.  And don't worry about how much any of them are worth, as again, I'm not too interested in collecting them in the first place, and I only spent a quarter each on them.  I'll take a look at your FS/FT thread and see if there's anything that interests me, and if there's anything that's not on there that you might be willing to part with, just let me know about that as well.  I'm positive we'll get a deal worked out.  Wink

And now, for the little bit I picked up this week:

All came from the same local thrift store.  All three controllers look good, with only minor wear and light scratches.  The Atomic Purple's stick is a tiny bit loose, but still performs just fine as yet.    Sony Playstation Non-Analog Controller, Sony PSOne White Analog Controller, Nintendo 64 Atomic Purple Controller:  $1.50 each

The "101 Nintendo Secrets" isn't a Jeff Rovin book, and believe me when I say that it definitely shows as you read through it.  It was printed in 1999, and covers Nintendo games across the Game Boy/Game Boy Color, Super Nintendo, and N64 systems, for a total of, weirdly enough, 64 games/game series, including the Mega Man franchise, 1080 Snowboarding, and even the Game Boy Camera.  It's set up as being a kind of Q&A with the writers of the book, Terry Munson & Paul Shinoda, but with questions that aren't really questions.  In any case, it's in pretty good shape, and it does, as far as I've seen thus far, give all correct information on the codes and secrets discussed.    101 Nintendo Secrets Revealed Book  $0.25

Finally, the Microsoft Entertainment Pack 4 is, well... just that.  It boots up fine, though I haven't installed anything or played anything from the disc yet.    Microsoft Entertainment Pack 4  $1.50

Whatever that man doesn't pick up from you on the Starpath games, I'll take. I have that same Nintendo book as well, and picked up a companion book with it at the same garage sale for Game Boy games. There's also quite a few others in the series that are meant to be pocket-sized.

Contributin'!

How's it goin small scores?  I feel like it's been months since I've posted anything, but trust me i lurk every day.  I need my daily cigarette.

Final Fantasy Tactics black label: $5.47.  I don't care what everyone else thinks the best Final Fantasy game is.  It's not 12, not 9, not 6 or 7.  It's Tactics.  I adore this game.

Dragon Warrior II: $14.99.  Decent price i guess.  A little better than retail.

Dragon Warrior III: $19.99. Same as DWII.  i couldn't pass it up   believe it or not, both of these games were found in the wild....they were just priced somewhat accordingly.

SMB 3 CIB: $6.99.  I was gonna pass on it, but i like the Challenge Set sticker.

Zelda II CIB: $19.99.  Not the greatest deal, but it's one of my favorite games of all time and i don't have the box yet.

Keep the stuff coming y'alls.

Great scores on the Dragon Warrior and FF: T games.  Dragon Warrior 3 is the only one I don't have and it was always my favorite.  $20 is a steal for that game.

Sup double post.  Went to this bi-annual flea market today and came away with a decent bit of stuff.

Everything in the picture was about $3 a piece.  The cards are the full set of Mortal Kombat trading cards from 1994.  The dolls are from the GI Joe 12" Street Fighter series.  Within minutes of buying them my daughter made them make out with each other.  After that she had them team up and kick me in the face.  Her first boyfriend is going to be in trouble.

I got all of the big box PC games for $10 total.  The three in the middle don't have the games, but I figure I can find loose copies pretty easily.  Speaking of which, if anyone has loose copies of Full Throttle, Star Trek:  Starfleet Academy or Lighthouse:  The Dark Being that they want to get rid of, let me know.  The other two games were just some random PC games that I grabbed for $2 a piece.

I grabbed a few movies too, but you'll have to wander over to the Media Room for those Smiley

Well finally the local flea market had some good things.  It has really been hit or miss this year.  Sometimes nobody has games, sometimes there's a half dozen game vendors.  I was thinking that I wanted to get a brick GameBoy and of all things I found one with Kirby's Dreamland and a hard carry case (not pictured) for $5.  It works great.  I also got the Fellowship of the Ring, and Killzone for $2 each.  The 3 toys were 3 for a dollar.

Had a nice find today. I was so excited about it that I couldn't make it home and had to snap a few phone pics from my office. I ran across this minty cart today at my local video game store and paid $50 for it:

Not a bad price I guess, but the best part is that it came in this...........

The top of the case is a little cracked, but since I have never seen the case before, I thought that the price was pretty fair.  The inside of the case has black foam shaped like the cart, which holds it in place.

This cart has an interesting story. Apparently, it was found in the TRASH CAN at a used media buyback place. I was told that the head of the video game department was the one who threw it in there.................yeah. Luckily, an employee saw it, dug it out, and brought it to the video game store that I frequent. Sad to think that such a rare title and it's really cool packaging were almost lost forever.

Also, a buddy of mine who works at the store is in a local prog metal band called "Atma Weapon" (the name being familiar to some of you I assume??). I really dig his band and told him I wanted a shirt. I think you guys may really like the design. ($10) I took the photo in my car, so the fading at the bottom is just a shadow.

That's a great price for Maxi 15.

One of my local stores was selling it for $99 CIB but i couldn't afford it.  I told a friend of mine about it who thought it was too good to be true, so he called the store to make sure it was really $99.  They said it was $99 so he went down to the place to pick it up.  By the time he got there no more than 30 minutes later, they jacked the price up to $199....needless to say, neither of us have been back to the store since.  Greedy dicks.
