I posted about finding this thing a while back but I've finally had the chance to really test it out. I picked it up mainly as a backup to the Magnavox monitor I have for my C64.

I hooked up several systems to it to see what it could do. I first tried the TI-99 which of course worked. then the SMS that one looked good too. Then I figured I'd see if the AV cables from my SMS would work on my model1 Genesis. they did AND looked slick. I'd never seen the Genny hooked up with anything but RF.

I figured if that worked i'd try the AV cables from my N64 on my SNES. damn if that didn't look sharp too. It also works great with my N64 and PS1.

helluva sweet find for $5 bucks!

Better than your average SVGA monitor, too. I've been through several lately and the one I'm down to was $5 itself from a Salvation Army.

yeah, the picture looks great. the graphics are really clean. it's a small screen only 13" but it looks to good to care about size.

well my SNES came from a thrift store and only had the RF adapter with it. I had it daisy chained with my Genesis and a game/tv switchbox that I'd use to swap out older systems like the Atari 2600 or Intellivision.

Same story on my Genesis. Although bought new back in 91 I only ever had the RF adapter. Since I've been collecting I've accumulated about 15 more Genesis consoles, several of each version and 5 Sega Master Systems. The most recent one I found had an AV cable with it. I never bothered to try it on my Genesis because as I said it was already hooked up on a chain.

the NES I've always used AV since I bought it in 1986.
