The only thing I could get to fit in the Megadrive AV port was an AV audio. Funnly it work I got video but no sound. I was expecting to get the other way around. hehe  (Lucky for me)

To get sound I did this very simple

I connected it all up to one of them AV to scart converters and it all works and the picture is amazing to boot.

I bought this gold plated cable set from B&Ms for £3.99

It's alot cheaper than buying one of them rip off Megadrive cables of ebay. Cheesy  Hope this info is handy to others.

Well you did save yourself $20, so if your happy with it, that's the main thing.
As for no sound, the Mega-CD had a stereo-jack to stereo-jack for use with the MD1 as there was no MD chip sounds otherwise.

Just wonder if that had something to do with you not getting sound unless you used the front stereo-jack port.

The TV I'm using is just a 15 inch with one speaker so it's no problem if I don't get stereo from it right now.

I have all kinds of appliances connected ghetto style. Adaptors connected to converters then other adaptors to more converters. hehe
