I had a distinct feeling that this wouldn't bode well..and to be honest...not that impressed...nice guy & nice collection but too put my two cents in not impressed...John the "Sega Guy" (lives in Washington I believe) has quite a more impressive collection in my opinion.

"To be completely honest I put my bid in in the hopes of getting it closer to the reserve (while staying under). I assumed his reserve price would have been significantly lower than it was and knowing what he needs the money for and what I could realistically offer are vastly apart.

I apologize for bidding and feel bad that the people who did get up over the reserve price backed out. If he broke it down even to a system by system lots I think he could have a more realistic chance of moving it. But it is really just a ton of money for even top tier collectors to shell out."


To lazy to take another screen cap and edit it in paint.
Even my offer of ~98k was WAY more than i could even think about offering. Christ my collection now doesn't fit into my apartment and i have whittled it down to under 1k primarily DVD based games.

If i had 98k to spend i would be getting a house.

Also, for those that care, the seller has been having a meltdown at digitpress. Jason Wilson even stepped up to the plate. It's a frighteningly bizarre and crazy read. A situation that got out of control spirals out into a train wreck.
