Does anyone know of a reliable place to obtain completely translated versions of games like Dragon Quest V and VI or Secret of Mana 2? I've messed with patches with little to no luck, and all of the other roms I have tried are still in Japanese.

Well I've herd Dragon Quest 4 & 5 are coming to the DS.
As for secret of Mana 2 try http://www.fantasyanime.com/index.htm
I haven't tried it but if it works you'll have to let me know.
