I am sorry if this is hard to read, I have just finshed a very hectic shift at work, and needed to write.

Well, I was going to trade a loose Mystic Defender for a copy of Zaxxon's Motherbase 2000 (cart and manual). The seller didn't want to trade, so I threw in a offical six button pad because he wanted one and couldn't find one locally -- I have a handful locally. Even then he budged -- I don't blame him.

So right as he proposed the trade I went on ebay, found a cheap BIN for a cart only copy to replace the one I thought I was going to trade, well the trade didn't happen, and right then I found out that some copies have a nude final boss, and some don't. I am anal about having the "best" variation So being optimistic I actually thanked the seller for inspiring me to get both variations. So I bought it and shoved it to the side because of work and final exams.

This Saturday morning at 4AM when I was leaving for work, I saw I had both copies on the floor, so I picked them up, took a look at the top labels and even the front ones and noticed some differences in the font and the sega genesis logo. So I am guessing I have both variations, just by judging the label alone.

Now I just have to play the damn game. =P

I've had a few where I got the wrong item off eBay...once I ordered a CIB Deadly Towers and got a CIB Legendary Wings instead, which basically put a new game into my collection instead of upgrading one I already had.  The other time was fairly recent...I ordered Wizardry VI for Super Famicom and got Wizardry VI & VII Complete for Saturn.  I wasn't too worried about it though, since it seems more people are looking for Saturn imports than SFC imports anyway, especially with lesser-known titles.  Also helps me down the road, since I want to get every console Wizardry game at some point, so I'm not too worried about it Tongue

I think it has only happened once so far in my 5 or so months of trading online.
I traded for a Zelda LttP cart and ended up getting the box with cardboard insert, and the manual (which was beat up but still)
