Today while I was at the mall I reserved Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddlers Green.  Finally a First Person Shooter where I get to kill zombies.  I've played through the demo from Xbox Magazine several times.  It had some glitches mostly with the damage from the shotgun* and sniper rifle** if they kept going with what they had and fix those the game should be pretty good.  My favorite part about the game is that pretty much the only way to kill the zombies was to shoot them in the head.  You can kill them by doing enough damage to their body but that takes waaayyy too much ammo.

Anyone else plan on checking it out?

* If the zombies got too close it wouldn't register a hit from the shotgun shells

** It didn't always register the head-shots with the sniper rifle.

I played the demo too and noticed those same problems. If that gets fixed it does look like a pretty cool game. can't beat shooting zombies.

I watched the movie when it was in theaters and really enjoyed it.  I had no clue they were making a video game.  Now that I read this, I  might check it out.

So I picked it up today and have been playing it for the past hour or so.  So far it's not bad, but not great either.  It's kind of creepy; not all the bodies you see on the ground get up and chase after you but enough do to cause you to look at each one twice.  The creepiest part by far has been walking through the cornfield.

But god its built on the old Unreal engine thats over 8 yeahs old now... There is no body damage to the zombies the AI is crud (Yes i know they are zombies but....) Its juts looks lame and outdated......
