I found something rather interesting on Play-Asia.com's site the other day:

http://www.play-asia.com/...-71-b9-49-en-70-421d.html

It's showing a US region, release date as TBA. Nothing on other retail sites. So either this is a clever trolling attempt by Play-Asia, or Sega's planning a big send-off to the PSP for the NA region.

Dear Sega: If by some miracle this DOES happen, I will take back everything I said about Sonic 2006. Roll Eyes

EDIT: Well, from what I'm reading, apparently this is a re-listing by Play-Asia... possibly an error on their part. So unless I see an official confirmation by Sega of America, I'm not getting my hopes up. *goes back to translating import copy*

It's great to dream, but I just don't think it will happen. It's kind of a shame, I'd rather have had 3 than 2.

I've just recently been playing the first one. I'm loving it so far. I'd be stoked to hear about more games in the series coming over here.

I'd love for the third to come over here.  I haven't put much time into 1, but I did enjoy the few hours I have played of it.

It's a shame the sequels went handheld instead of staying on PS3...

It's always a pain when a series jumps platform. No one should have to get additional hardware just to play more of what they already enjoyed on their current console/handheld.

It made sense for Sega in Japan. Unfortunately that just doesn't work well for the rest of us.
