For those that don't remember Irem left video game development after cancelling Disaster Report 4 after the big earthquakes that lead to the Fukushima meltdowns. After the closure most of Irem's developers founded Granzella and acquired most of Irem's IP a few months ago at the end of 2014.

Disaster Report 4 is likely coming out in 2016, with some teasing for a Steambot Chronicles sequel sometime in the future! I'm currently playing Steambot Chronicles and really enjoying it, so this is exciting!

Sounds like they already have a solid premise for Disaster Report 5...

Well they didn't do it alone; they also had the backing of the Illuminati Freemason lizard-beings, led by the High-Lord-Moon-Landing-Faking-JFK-assassin Xenu. And if you can't believe what David Icke and Alex Jones tell you, then what can you believe?

Though I understood the reasons at the time, I was completely heartbroken when Disaster Report was canceled. I can't believe it's back up and running. Please, let this come to America. I would take this over ten new Team Ico games, swear to God.

Did Granzella acquire the rights to the R-Type line?  That would be FANTASTIC.  I'd love to see a proper HD collection of R-Type games, so we can FINALLY GET R-TYPE LEO on a game console!  Not to mention, HD upgrades of Delta and Final would be super cool.  I'd love to see an Irem arcade compilation as well, similar to the Midway, Capcom, SNK, and Data East collections we've seen in recent years.  Irem had other good shmups and arcade titles that are often forgotten.
