http://www.whatis-it.com/

Saw a commercial for it on TV and was actually somewhat interested so i check out the site.
I dunno what it could be.
I know of no new or major advances in anything coming out in the next 2 days

The only things i could think of are not coming out the 20th unless i am sadly mistaken.

Did they have to pick a fat guy for the American commercial?

Anyways, I don't know what it is, but I will prolly get one when the price drops.

Not likely.  It's been advertized on national TV, so there has to be some corporate sponsorship behind this.

Ok, so "it" was finally released today.  Turns out that "it" is any item listed on ebay.   The slogan on their site now reads "Whatever it is, you can find it on ebay."

Duh, the last few seconds say that "it" can be anything and you should buy "it" from e-bay whatever "it" may be. South Park should sue.

I saw the commercial last night too, and when I saw what it was an ad for, I felt very stupid, and the "Buy it on eBay!" jingle kept reverberating in my head. Indirect Advertising is interesting, IKEA does indirect advertising through a website that humorously goes after the Swedish Magnate.
