the charity shop (thrift store) that my wife volunteers at, has a new display unit, due to be installed in the morning. The old display unit is still quite servicable in my opinion, despite being a bit scratched up.

I've asked the manager if I may buy it for £5 or so, as I think it's going to be thrown away otherwise.


It can go in my games room, replacing the chest of drawers, and I can put my calculator collection in it.

I got it. Smiley It's a little worn, but not bad for just almost free! Just need to make a donation to the charity, about £5 or so.

I have all of my calculators in it, and my hand held bandai. In the future I might fill it with hand held games. I have it "the wrong way round" i.e the side that the customer would have seen faces the wall, and the shelves below the cabinet face my games room so that I can use them.



I'll post some photos later.

yes, she works in the charity shop as an unpaid volunteer and persuaded the manager to let me buy it when they got a new one installed
