Is that the shift after the graveyard shift?
Or is that the graveyard shift?

i believe from 10 to 6.

i worked nights for about 6 months and i had a difficult time getting adjusted. now, i'm working regular hours and i feel its so much better. when working nights...you miss out on so much. when you wake up, family is at school/work and when they come home you only have a few hours to be with them.

I wouldn't mind working a night shift if I didn't have a girlfriend who works during the day.  I'd actually like the night shift better than the day shift, but I definitely wouldn't enjoy all the time lost since most people work during the day.

I used to deliver papers while I went to school.  During this time I was in the Teacher Education Program and my schedule sucked...I went to work at 2a.m., finished up around 6, had to go to a local high school for observation at 7:30, and then left at one-ish to be at school at 2...Stayed till 4 went home and got a few hours of sleep and did it again.

I only had to do the observation at a local school 2 times a week...but it still sucked.  No days off...That is one quarter I will never get back!

I have to work that shift all next week - for the first time in 7 years or so.  I have to babysit the night shift - oh how I love management.
