One of Nintendo's nongames, Electroplankton takes an interesting concept and fails to deliver something magical, making you yearn for something more. If you like cute little artsy things, then this game may be for you. Otherwise, you perhaps should look elsewhere for an amazing experience, you probably won't find it here.

For those who have played it, describe what you liked and what you hated about the game, while for those who have yet to experience Electroplankton describe your ideal nongame music experience.

I remember hearing how much it sucked that this game didn't support a save feature.
For 30$s and no saving this game is not worth it IMO.
I feel bad for those who invested money in it.

If you have the proper equipment you can save but it is more of a hassle than anything. And might technically be illegal...

At first I thought this might be a Spongebob Squarepants game.

No save feature?
Shocked Shocked Shocked

What the hell. Can any one else think of a new game that doesn't have a save feature?

I played the import a while back and it was neat, but I did not know there was no save feature  :-/

It is (was?) $35.00 new.

I preordered it and got it on the US release date.  Have I played around with it much since I first got it?  Yep.  Does it suck that it doesn't have a save feature?  Sure.

However, this game is something unique.  It's nice to just sit back and chill out trying to make some cool sounds.  It's good when you're trying to relax.  I often play it before I go to bed.  Uniqueness is something that I'm willing to support.

That being said, the game could have easily benefited from a save feature.  I'm really not sure why they didn't include it.  It's certainly not taxing on the DS system resources, and I'm sure they could have had room on the game card to do so.  Hell, even being able to save a couple of tracks would be better than nothing.

So, I guess that I agree with the original post.  Cool and fun idea, but could have used a bit more polish.
