Depends on the girl.
I know some girls who are all abour puzzle games, or DR style games i know others who are into all different kinds, i knew one chick who only played survival horrors(Resident Evil Dino Crisis etc.
All people are different you shouldn't lump girls into a general group of gamers.

I like all kinds of different games but mainly go for classics and handhelds. As far as new games go, I really like Mario Party, Pac-Man Fever types.

My girlfriend loves Baldur's Gate 2. Too bad it's not a very good multiplayer game.

My girlfriend pretty much hasn't played any video games in maybe ten years. The last time she was in town, she kept saying she wanted to play video games with me, so I let her pick one out. Now, it's not like she didn't have a thousand to choose from, but she picked GTA: San Andreas. It didn't work too well. Since she hadn't really ever played a 3D game before, it was a big mess. I'm going to have to make another attempt at getting her to try out video games.

I used to be into Quake III hardcore. I play a little bit of everything. It's cliche to think that chicks just dig puzzle and rpgs. I also enjoy fast-paced fighting and button mashers.
TIP: Get your girl Tales of Symphonia and her very own GameCube
