Yeah, it kinda seems like "limited edition" means "limited to just those who want to pay extra for the game."

It would make the Final Fantasy XII Collector's Edition proud!

Maybe the scratch deal is MS's way of telling you, "YOU SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE LEGENDARY EDITION!!!" Wink

That or the fact that the back of the "Halo 3 Essentials" DVD case (part of the Legendary Edition) says " The Legendary Edition of Halo 3 is the true collector's edition."

Not that it really matters, I think people have become more interested in the multiplayer.  Which is a shame if you think to it.  There isn't much you can do to change such a finely-tuned system.

Yeah, this happened to me. The game disc was loose but not the bonus disc. Figures.

Oh well, at least there was only 1 very light scratch. After I'm done with the game I'll probably send it off for a replacement. Smiley

JW, your situation was the same as mine. A light scratch on the game disk, but the bonus disk was fine.

They replaced my game disk on the spot, though, with a disk from the regular version of the game.  Played around with the Forge last night. Cool

We got 3 Legendaries and 1 "vanilla". One of the Legendary game disks suffered from moisture damage right out of the box. Luckily the manager at our local EB is friendly and helpful. Replaced it at 2am on launch. Dunno what the mood would have been in our house if only 3 of us could have played the co-op campaign instead of all 4 of us.

I don't know if that is a widespread issue or just bad luck.

Moisture damage?
