RF Generation's Site News! In this issue, we remind you to PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE donate to our annual Site Donation Drive, announce our March 2018 community playthrough title, and of course, thank those members who sent in submissions to our site and registered approvals during the first month of the new year. Thanks for keeping it on Channel 3!
REMEMBER: If you have any news about upcoming events or topics that you think the site needs to hear about, please PM singlebanana and put "RFG Site News" in the subject line. It's that time again, and we are currently in the middle of our annual site donation drive. PLEASE donate if you can, since RF Generation is a no advertising site and is run solely on the generous donations of members like YOU! If you enjoy our database tools, our podcasts, or even the great camaraderie on our forums, throw a few bucks our way by clicking on the "DONATE" button on the toolbar at the top of this page or by clicking
HERE. And remember, for each $10 you donate, you will receive a ticket for our prize raffle which could win you some fabulous prizes! You can view these prize lots
HERE.
Please note that donations will go directly to our server account and our goal is to raise at least $1500 by February 28th, which combined with donations from the previous year, will keep us going through the year. I will continue to provide updates on the front page throughout February to help monitor how close we are to obtaining our goal and thank all donors by name for their contributions.

MARCH 2018 COMMUNITY PLAYTHROUGH

Jump into your Underoos and grab a bowl of your favorite, sugar-bomb cereal as we dive into the best toy commercial cartoon show of our childhood! It's Autobots verses Deceptacons as Optimus Prime and his friends vie to protect the Earth from Megatron in Platinum Games' rock-em sock-em, action filled title,
Transformers: Devastation.
In this game, players control one of five Autobots: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Wheeljack, or Grimlock. Each Autobot is able to use a variety of melee attacks and ranged weapons, and are able to transform into their vehicle. Similar to
Bayonetta, successfully dodging attacks activates Focus, which slows down time around the player, allowing them to counterattack opponents. Each Autobot also has a unique special ability and a powerful Overdrive attack that can be performed with enough energy. Players can also earn credits and gain new weapons by defeating enemies, destroying certain objects, and clearing puzzles hidden across each chapter. Credits can be used to purchase new items, moves, and weapons, forge T.E.C.H. to grant passive stat boosts, synthesize weapons to make them stronger, or increase the stats of each Autobot.
We hope that you are as excited about this pick as we are, so be sure to grab yourself a copy today! Also, please join in to discuss the game by signing up on our
Transformers: Devastation discussion thread located
HERE.

JANUARY 2018 THANK YOU

In January, site members contributed a total of
6,496 submissions to our database! Oddly, that's exactly 2,000 more than last month (cue ominous ghost sounds here). Of these additions,
6,468 were game submissions and
28 were hardware items. Of this total,
2,025 contributions were new images and
2,023 of these images were game submissions. This means there was A LOT of new content added to the database! A big thanks to all who submitted items to our database and to those who reviewed them all for the month of January! We appreciate your efforts in making our database and community a great tool for our users.
