So, we just migrated everything over, but we're moving back!

This new server is just too fast. It reminds us on staff about broadband and new technology. Pages loading when you click them? Pshaw. We need to go back to the golden age of the Internet.

Until we make this switch, I'll be artificially throttling the speed on the server so everyone can get used to it again.

Also, after working with theGrue, we're going to dump the Android app and develop only for Palm.

RF Generation coming here soon!

We feel that this will take the site back to its roots in classic gaming, when you didn't need "day one patches", "DLC on disc", and "stability updates". Things broke when they did and that's the way we liked it!

As always, be sure to keep it on channel <4-1>...

I support this move. To show my dedication, I'm reverting back to dial-up just to make the site that much slower. Oh how I miss that glorious dial-up, android self-destructing, screech.

@singlebanana:
Loading up the site on my TRS-80 CoCo 2 and 400 baud modem. I'll let you know when it's finished.

This is great news for me. I'm ready to party like its 1995.  We should get a RFG flavored MuD going.  Just one thing: Can anyone please tell me what the AOL keyword for RFG will be?

Finally! My Palm Zire has been collecting dust waiting for RFG compatibility. I mean c'mon! Is this 1995?

US Robotics 56K FTW!!!!!!!!

@bombatomba:
TIMBER

I move that we simply ditch this whole HTML fad all together. I'm down for some Telnet love!

It's about time. All this high speed was making my head all spin.

Time to bust out my old Dell and load up some of those free AOL CD-ROMs. That would totally not crash the site.

Any plans on a Cybiko App?  That would be very cool.  I do like Duke's CLI idea, and it would be very sleek and easy to load.

And I just got rid of my Palm Pilot a while back, dang it.  Any chance of an app for Windows Pocket PC?

haha, the best one this year!

You're not throttling it enough - you need to replace the server hardware with failing equipment, just like the last server we had.

Let me know when you get an AvantGo channel

I haven't even thought about my old Zire in over a decade.  Bravo, This is the move that will save Palm.
