Show Some Love

As suggested previously I spent my last few gaming sessions attacking Krang, Shredder and their gang. First attempt at TMNT 2 lead to an honorable defeat at the hands of Krang. The run helped me get familiar with the bosses, challenging areas and master Donatello's special attack. This made my next attempt much easier. I made a few mistakes, but still was almost able to beat the game without using a continue. I messed up very late in the game and had to use 1 though. The run seems very fluky since I beat about half the bosses with only 1 hit left (including Shredder), which was awesome since you start the next area with a full health bar! I've beaten this game before with my brother, but never by my self. Its a bit harder playing solo.

Next came TMNT 3. After playing 2 so recently I really had to adjust my play style. Spamming the special move and jump kick got me through 2 almost entirely. 3 however made the jump kick much weaker, and often got me punched for even trying to attempt it. And though the special moves were awesome, they cost a health, unlike 2 so I had to use them sparingly. The good news was that if you were on your last health you could spam your special as long as you wanted until you got hit again. It was also nice to be able to swap turtles with each death, instead of each continue. They each have a different special that comes in handy on certain bosses. While Donatello is my favorite and I wanted to use him, Leonardo's special was much better on most bosses, so most of the run is with him. It was a nail biter and I beat Super Shredder with about 2 hits left on my last continue, but this also marks the first time I've ever finished this game too.

I've officially caught up on my uploading backlog so now I just have to keep up with games as I finish them. Anyone know what the maximum length or size is that I can upload to youtube? I put a 2 hour Blaster Master video on there and didnt seem to have an issue. Wondering if I can hit the 5-6 hour mark for some future titles.
