So I got some video capture equipment and software running my my old PC now. Which means I can finally upload my TMNT video for those of you interested. I wasnt really concerned with the editing (as you can probably tell) so I just chopped the video in half in order to upload to youtube. For some reason the second half failed to upload so I'll try it agian tomorrow. In the mean time here is the first part of the speed run:

That's awesome Crab!

There are a few mistakes that I'd like to have cleaned up, but overall it was decent.

@Crabmaster2000:
Dam run was decent. I know you can save 3-5 seconds on it though. A few other minor mistakes I noticed, but that's to be expected on a TMNT run.

If I cleaned up all my stupid errors I could probably cleanup close to a full minute off the total time. The game is kind of frustrating to speed run because of the amount of randomness though.

I loved this game as a kid and never dreamed of it being played so efficiently. Back then I was grateful if I simply survived haha.

Tried to upload the second half and it failed again. I'm not sure what the problem is. I'll give it another go tomorrow.

@Crabmaster2000:
File size?

Problem with a TMNT run is just getting the luck of the draw on the Technodrome. It drains you if you get a really good run (1/50 runs) and then don't get the Technodrome to show up in the first location.

On top of the Technodrome's random appearances there are quite a few rooms that have 2 different possible enemy schemes, and the lasers in the dam area have several different patterns.

Wow.  I sucked sooo bad at this game back in the day.  I used to play it off that it was because it wasn't exactly like the arcade game...

This is by far one of the fastest speed runs I've seen, and it looks like it was video taped.  Ever thought of sending it in to Twin Galaxies?  The current champ is at 20 minutes and seven seconds (I think).

@bombatomba - lol, I am the current TMNT champ at Twin Galaxies with 20:21 for fastest completion. This video is the one I sumbitted to them.

@everybody - Still trying to upload the second half. I've tried making it smaller, but for some reason it keeps failing to upload (4 different attempts now). The first video half had no issues and I'm not doing anything any differently so I'm out of ideas. Should I download new video editing software and try that? Any suggestions?

How did you edit it to split the movie?

Thanks bickman, but I got it figured out finally and both videos are up on my blog now.
