Not being an RPG guy in general, CT so far has impressed me a lot so far (never played it before). Thoughts so far:

--ATB was either a neat way to keep things interesting, or a terrible choice that I am gonna kick myself for.

--It seems like my choices matter way more; sorta like how Mass Effect should have been

--I still don't ever do side quests. Some things never change.

For those of you wanting to know how far I am:

You shouldn't be too far from the first checkpoint.

I would think that ATB would be an interesting choice, but I like to take my time planning out my battle strategies so I chose the turn based option.

Fortunately, I wasn't convicted of kidnapping but you end up in he dungeons anyway.

The new check point has been posted.

We can now discuss the content of Week 1. If you have anything to say about Week 2's material try to keep it brief and use those spoiler tags.

Nah - I'm not running the show. I know a lot of people have played this in the past, and I'm just concerned certain "interesting" things may get spoiled. Not that they'll impact any part of the playthrough necessarily, at least from what has been said currently. No ruining some of the second half.  Grin

So how should we be using the spoiler boxes properly?  Would a spoiler be considered anything passed the current checkpoint?  I think everything up to the weeks' current checkpoint should be fair game.

However you guys choose. Mid-late game spoiler below for explanation. This is your playthrough folks - just trying to level the playing field for those who haven't experienced the game yet, as this game likely has the highest participation of people who have previously played it.

I think it would make more sense if we were allowed to discuss everything up to the week's checkpoint openly and everything beyond that should be in spoiler tags.  Because now everyone has moved on and last week is history.

That's what I meant.

So... based on my faux pas, content from Week 2 is fair game is open to discuss.

So I def like the feel of the post apocalyptic place you are transferred to after running away from the castle. It has that Mad Maxx feel. I ended up grinding alot where you would hope onto the moto bike in one of the domes. Since you don't get the key to the bike yet everytime you touch it, it triggers an alarm and more robots come. Plus you get a good amount of gold fighting them
