The families in Africa get aid from all those nice religious organizations though.
{Fat old white man}For less than the cost of a cup of coffee a day you can feed this family of 10. The other 8 already died of hunger and starvation.{/fat old white man}

I don't see anyone running ads to aid gamers in their pursuit of a fulfilled life.
{Fat old white man} For less than the cost of a loose NES cart a day you could help this gamer pursue his goal of actually playing the games he owns.{/Fat old white man}

Why are boxes never the right size for shipping items in?

You mean the same boxes the shipping company gave to you Smiley

Yeah, and don't get me started about Flat Rate boxes.  Large size, my buttocks.

At one point i had like a truckload of boxes. No matter what i was going to sell they always seemed to be too large or too small.

Don't get me started o USPS boxes.
I have a ton of Flatrate APO/FPO boxes. I suppose i can flip them inside out though.

I really liked it when they were first introduced because inside they didn't print PRIORITY FLAT RATE

Hm.  Never thought of that before.

Arg!  Just found out that Drakkhen for DOS was on 5.25 floppies!  Now I've gotta find a darn 5.25 drive to fit my system!  Anyone know if they fit on standard drive input on a motherboard (the same as a 3.5")?

Appreciate the help, nupoile.  Hm.  It appears that in some circumstances it was the same (and many mobos of the 90's had two ports for them).  However, there is a question of compatability with "current" PCs.  Hm.  More research I think.  On the plus side according to Mobygames there was a IBM/Tandy marked 3.5" diskette.  Just going to have to keep my eyes peeled.

Just ordered my SNES to SCART and SCART to BNC/audio cables.  I've taken my first step into the brave new world of RGB.

I was sitting in the waiting room playing GBA waiting for my fiance to finish work, and this kid who looked like he was 5 or 6 came over and asked me "What kind of iPod is that?" I replied "It's not an iPod, it's a Game Boy Advance" He gets a puzzled look and then follows up with "What's a Game Boy?" Thanks kid for making me feel old...lol

At least you got asked about a Game Boy. *I* got asked about a Nintendo 64, an Atari Jaguar (fair enough), and SEGA (KID DIDN'T KNOW WHO SEGA WAS). In all cases, the kids had fathers who apologized to me about it. Tongue
