Technically. Youtube is still a separate entity from Google in some respects, so they can go out and buy Twitch if they have the scratch for it, but it will all be under the Google umbrella.

interesting, i didn't know they had any power of their own, i thought they were fully integrated with google and more or less a lower department instead of a 2nd party sort of deal.

I finally replaced my Saturn battery. Now I can use the internal save for my RPGs!

I got a PSP for my birthday this year, but it has a problem with the power switch. I have tried to fix it, but I think I caused a stuck blue pixel to appear on the screen.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare for PS4/PS3 has been teased, this makes me a happy camper. Will Titanfall be heading to Sony camp as well?

Short answer: No, Titanfall was a Microsoft exclusive. PvZ Garden Warfare was never meant to be exclusive.

So happy to hear it's being upgraded to run 1080p 60 FPS, I believe I will pre-order now even though I'm not getting a PS4 till Christmas. EA just needs to announce PvZ 2 coming to consoles and I'll be happy.

"Generally speaking, if you sit more than 10 feet away from your TV, and your display isn’t bigger than 50 inches diagonally, you won’t be able to tell the difference between 720 and 1080."

Somehow i doubt you have a 600+$ TV that you will be sitting 5 feet away from to truly appreciate the minute nuances visible from the super graphic intensity that is Plants vs Zombies.

I typically sit < 2 feet from my 42" TV. I can barely tell the difference between 720p and 1080p, but I can definitely tell the difference between 1080i and 1080p. It helps to have a somewhat broken panel to see the interlacing.

I'm about 2 feet away from my 32" and I have never had reason to complain that it was only 720 instead of 1080, the quality is there for almost all of the games I have played and seems to look even better over 1080 in my opinion for Cel-shaded games like borderlands 2, but it could be branding that is making the difference I notice when playing Borderlands 2.

Keep in mind that most console games aren't "real" 1080p anyway (PS3, 360). They run at 720p or less, then the console does upscaling to 1080p if you have a 1080p TV. As we all know with upscaled "1080p" DVD's, upscaling isn't at all the same thing as the genuine resolution.
