Quake running on an oscilloscope:

With memories of people running Quake in wire-frame mode for competitive play, this seems right somehow.

It gives me hope for the Vectrex port.

Personally, a good tribute to Ralph Baer.

That is awesome.

I thought i had mentioned this before but i guess not.

Me:    What do you want your name to be on your DS?
Son:   Japan!(We had just been talking about how he might be able to play with my cuz in Japan)
Me:     I think that might be taken already. Plus remember whatever you pick you have to keep forever.
Son:    Oh well then i'll be izret!
Me:     That is awesome! But i'm izret already. Hmmm how about izret junior?
Son:    Yea! But you have to put the dot at the end.
*types izret jr.*

Upgraded my phone's Micro SD to 32GB. Using the 2GB Sandisk card that was in there, I got an R4 DS card working.
It was already working, but my computer kept failing to read the Kingston 2GB MSD that was in it even though the DS could handle it. shrug
I also loaded kernel version 1.18 instead of the 1.10 that was on it.

Yeah, I have flash carts for the DS... One EDGE card and one R4 (Don't know if it's fake or not).

So I brought the NES upstairs so the fam and I can play some wicked games on New Years Eve.  My boy said we should leave it up and take the Xbox 360 down to the basement.

*tear*

My boy.  Now that I know he actually likes games made before 2001, I feel like I need to get him a C64 for his room or something.

Cash stash is closing in on the Wii U price tag. I'm anxious to get my hands on one and start digging into its library!

Make sure you at least download the demo for Wonderful 101. Absolutely fantastic game, and one of the most fulfilling gaming experiences I've had since childhood.

I tried to play it a while back, and I couldn't figure out what the hell I was doing. I got frustrated. My girlfriend got frustrated. We turned the darn thing off....but then again, I'm not the best at touchscreen/stylus games, given that I'm left-handed, and they tend to be catered toward righties.
