Hi,
Just wondering if there is any way to "combine" collections. You see, me and a couple of friends would like to see what we all have among us, as preparation for an event. We would like either
1. a way to print multiple collections into one document (with regard to console);
2. a way to copy/export collection so we could combine and edit it ourselves (probably not possible);
3. (most desirable) a way to add multiple existing RFG collections into the same folder (not to be counted as owned games).

Such a request is a little unusual, but thank you for listening anyway.

I definately see the use for such a feature, but unfortunately I can't think of an easy way to do it using the current system.    Exporting and importing collections has definately been an idea in the pipeline for some time now, and I imagine it will get implemented in the future, as soon as school starts winding down for me.

The most efficient way I can think of right now is to have each of you make a special folder for all the games you want to combine (if they're not all in the same folder already) and to click the print list link at the bottom, or the show all link.  This will display all games on the same page.  From there you can copy/paste the table into excel/openoffice and combine the lists there.

Not exactly the best way to do it, but until we get an export function added it's the only way to do it.

Thanks! It'll do for now.

Specifically, the way I had to do it, was to select the table of games and copy it, then open an Excel document, right click, select "Paste Special...", select "Text", click OK, and it'll work. When I just pasted without special, it pasted everything into the same cell.

Anyway, this works.

Excuse the double post:

There doesn't seem to be a "show all" button on collections which are not mine. Or did I not see it?

You can only show all for your own collection. It keeps our site from crashing.

I think that everyone is missing the overall joke.
The communist wants to combine his and his friends collections.
