All i know about this is that it came out in the early 90's and it was an idea between Sega and Blockbuster. You would "burn" a game to the cart and then when your rental time was up you would return it and they could burn a new game over it. There were 3 colors red green blue. Red had the most space on it blue had the least.
Any additional info would be greatly appreciated.

Why would you want any of those? You can't get a game on it anyway. Or does it already have a game on it?

I would want one just because it is kind of an interesting piece.  Hell, half the games I have I'm not going to play, so it isn't that out of question to have something like this.

I got it because i thought it would be a game then when i got home there was no game on it. So i thought it might have been my Genesis because it didnt work right with some games. So i got a new one for 10 bucks tried the game again it didnt work.Iput the Game Factory aside and decided to search for it online and maybe 2 months later i got a T&T issue with some different info in it too.
Also on DP i think it was a rarity 5 but i could be wrong.
I do want the other 2 colors to so if anyone runs across them cheap i would be willing to pay for it.

Mike wanted to know if anyone had info on it in another thread.

I tried contacting Sega and Blockbuster about it a few months ago.
Neither knew anything about it.
Sega told me it to ask Block Buster because it was there software.
BlockBuster told me to ask Sega because it was for their console.

in the U.K they had a kinda similar system which died an early death.

When most games came in cassetter form this was.

Instead of buying a brand new mint sealed game, you chose your game, and they got a blank tape, and copied it from a master tape at high speed, and gave your game in a store branded cassette case.

They tended to get tape loading errors a lot.

Now, I know this is true, as I've read a lot about it, from people in the know, but I never came across one myself in a shop.
