Anybody played this one? It looks like a fun multiplayer game.

Yea, I actually completely beat this game like a year or more ago.  It's one of those games that focusses on entertainment...with quite a few fun missions and lots of stuff to unlock.  The maps are also pretty large.

It depends of course on what you're looking for...but if you're looking for a Twisted Metal-style multiplayer game with an aim to entertain, then this is definitely a good pick.  Even when I was doing the single player missions, I never got bored. Wink

I think I have the PS2 version. I remember driving around and shooting or running over hookers and homeless people.

did you pick it up? obviously the PS2 version does not have 4 player multi.

I haven't picked it up yet. Given the recommendations, though, I'll be checking out the discount bins for it.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it tomorrow. I'll bring it to the next xbox night, though.

Played a little split screen on this last night before the Halo2 carnage began. Not too shabby. I'd like to play it again.

It's basically Twisted Metal. The choice of vehicles was huge and pretty funny including a riding mower and bumper car.

Yeah. It turned out to be more fun than I was anticipating.

There's also a good selection of multiplayer tracks/maps and a balanced amount of powerups to keep things interesting.

Having never played Twisted Metal, I'm glad I picked this one up.
