its weird because, this store was doing quite well at first. there was this guy working there that was so customer friendly....he ended up getting fired and then the store went down hill. there was some old man working there afterwards and he didn't know crap about games. however, i've scored some nice games/accessories from this store. a few of my buddies still shop there. i would love to take over the business, but 100 grand is a little too much. plus i am out of state now.

edit: he also has a myriad box for the NES. looks in okay shape. he is selling sonic the hedgehog statue. if you look at the close up pics, looks' like sonic was abused......poor guy.

Sweet.

Me and tynstar (Scott) had the chance to buy a game store recently. I think they only wanted around 10,000 though.....

$1000 bucks reserve on that Sonic statue. seems pretty high considering how mangled it is in those pictures.

Wow thats pretty nuts.
I know if my favorite shop went up for sale i would start selling body parts to get the money to buy it.

heck yeah it is. i am sure the owner realizes that too. if he doesn't he needs his head examined. lol. i'm not even sure i'd spend over 150 dollars for this bad boy. it would always bother me to see him in terrible condition.
he mentioned that he may sell to the high bidder, depending on feedback. so maybe someone can put in a nice bid and win it for a good price.
