STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! The volume of negative feedback this game is getting is ridiculous! So much so that I fortunately decided not to open the game.

I actually returned my reserved copy last night (unopened) and in it's place got some other used games (Metroid Prime, Eternal Darkness, and Champions of Norrath) & remainder in store credit.

From the majority of accounts I've read, unfortunately Marvel Nemesis did not turn out to be the quality fighter it could have been and if you have any interest in buying it, just wait, it should be a $19.99 or less title within a month or so.

Bummer. I had been looking forward to this game for a long time, too. Oh well.

don't know about Champions of Norrath but you did well with Eternal Darkness and Metroid Prime.

check out www.gamerankings.com. that's where their composite rating stands at a whopping 65%. www.ign.com and www.gamespot.com pretty much tore into it. www.teamxbox.com was the most favorable review I've seen thus far.

Yes. Definitely a good article. It pretty much sums up most of the complaints about the game that I've seen from various sources and does mention it's few good points (which are too few to inspire the purchase of this game).

I'm with pheonix on this one. I was sort of on the fence before it came out (i'm always weary of 3D fighters) but my friends were really excited. The day it came out they played it and were completely dissappointed. We joke about how bad it is after we sell it to people in the store now.

I could stand to have my Wii serviced right about now.
