The next 4 hours of my life will go on forever, I'm afraid. Sitting out in my car is my copy of KH2, beckoning to be played, how I want to play it, but sadly, I got to continue talking about traffic delays up until 5. Sigh...

So the question arises... who has been waiting for this this as diligently as I have? I am going to make a conjecture that the answer is probably very little. But please, discuss, hype, do whatever, but one thing is for certain, I'll be cooped up in my room all week when I am not working.

I've looked into it and from what I've heard it's received very positive reviews. But it's just not high on my list of games to play/own at this time.

I'm trying to wait to get this game until; I beat some other ones, but I don't think thats going to happen.  I LOVED the first one and I have been waiting for this one forever.

They wouldn't let me get it until tomorrow.  I went in and asked for it, they said That they won't have it until 10:00 tomorrow morning.  I'm pissed.

^ That sucks. I didn't reserve the game, went in yesterday at noon with the intention of reserving so I could get it today, but rather I got it right then on the spot. Truly made my day.

For those who intend on getting it, don't you find it weird that the game sort of doesn't start until 2 and a half hours into the game? Sure, you are all thinking what?!, but I am wondering if anybody else expected the beginning like it happened... Trying to be spoilerless here.

I've played this game for 5 and a half hours yesterday, and I must say that the game is awesome. IGN can go shoot themselves in the face.

Perhaps a bit, but I haven't really paid that much attention to Cid's voice.

I picked it up yesterday but because of work/kids/wife I haven't been able to play it yet. I hope I get to tonight.

Wow, I totally forgot that I made this thread.

I played it, beat it, and now I am going through again. I am going to attempt to get 100%, but from what I hear it is really, really hard.

Kingdom Hearts 2 has a lot of button mashing. But, there is a skill involved, and I can name quite a few classics where button mashing is also necessary. I will say that I enjoyed the battle mechanics of the first game more, and if they could mesh that system and the reaction system I feel that the battle mechanics would be top notch. I also found it slightly disappointing that of all the magic spells I had I only needed to use one spell (Reflect).

Still, I enjoyed the game. It has a good story, good graphics, and while the battle system could be better, it still is good, and I do not feel that the value of the game should be completely discounted. After all, the game did keep me completely glued to the TV for a week. Had I done all the side quests, I'd still be glued. Personally, I think I would give KH2 a 90%, and that rating would be higher had the battle mechanics been better.

my wife had a hard time finding a strat guide for the first one so we got the book before the game just in case, and we see the've been keeping a healthy number stocked at all times, figures.  Roll Eyes

Yes, you have my utmost respect for actually going for the secret ending, if that is truly what you are going for.

Congrats on beating Sephiroth
