Recently on www.nintendojo.com it has been reported that Hudson and Sega are going to be releasing old games for the Revolution through there "Virtual Console" part of the system.  Do you think that prices will increase, decrease, or stay the same if some of the more expensive titles, i.e. Air Zonk, Bonk 3, etc., get realeased on the Revolution?

I hope prices will decrease. This will allow us true collectors to get a hold of the stuff. Once the Revolution is old news, people will eventually go back to eBay for the real hardware/software. I think the value won't drop too much, because there is still going to be demand.

Anyhow, this is excellent news. I was already impressed with the Rev & I keep hearing great news every few months! I just hope they will have a alternate controller other than the remote control thingy. <----YUCK!!!

There have been Emulators for years and stuff is still expensive so I don't thing the Revolution will change the price.

Yea, I figured that but a poll with only decrease and stay the same seemed kind of lame.

On a long enough timeline, everything goes to zero.

I voted for decrease.

I agree.

Therefore in your poll I voted for "stay the same"

Yet the prices will increase or decrease by themselves due to collectors.

I pretty much agree with Atari Wizard.

Actually, i anticipate prices of rarer games to RISE. More people will see the game, and more will want the original. I dont expect a huge change, but still a change

It will do both most likely.  I've seen both happein in the market.  Example, the famiclones are lowering the price of NES toploaders and FFVII made the price of the first FF skyrocket.
