What is it with young adults having kids at a young age and then acting like they know EVERYTHING about kids? Looks like it's been happing a lot lately. I know this isn't the 1950's, where people had kids out of high school.

Since I work at the BK Lounge, this shit happens all of the time. My mom deals with it at work, and I will in a few years -- going in to social work.

It happens all the time and has always happened all the time.

It's like war, sure we'd be better off without it but it's never going to  stop.

It's just human nature, we all love sex and will always hate/want to blow up someone.

Plus I think new parents of all ages think they know everything about kids. Until they pop out a couple more and realize they know shit about it and will continue to know shit about it. Until their kids have kids and then they'll think they know everything once more.

My cousin Kayla is getting married early next year. I think she'll be 20 by then. I'm really worried she's going to start having kids soon after. That kind of thing sort of runs in our family. :/

What you think at a certain age you just suddenly become aware of how to take care of kids?

20 is a good age to have kids, I wouldn't be worried.

Besides we all need to have at least four kids to keep up with the middle-east.

It's strange in this thread.

I put a space between every sentence.

Weird.

OK, what if you have eight credit cards, both parents have new car payments they can barely affod, she work 60+ hours a week, the husband works well over 80+ hours a week, a major druggie, NO high school diploma which means you'll find nothing for work. And treat your kid like an item, not a human being, and no shows a lot at work. Good parents?

No money, and sure as hell no time.

She says she'll go back to college, but she was oh so fucking close to getting her diploma, but decided to get all knocked up and shit. Seeing she has a VERY BAD attituitde, she'll go far -- mcdonalds! I really doubt a bad attitutide is a good thing for someone who was studying bussiness management.

This is, well a major problem at my job, because I have to put up with her shit -- saying she can't do this and that when she damn well can. Shift supervisor and all. We did rehire this tramp who is a walking after-school special, when she was knocked up for some reason that I'll never understand. I've gotten my revenge on her a few times. Cheesy

Oh, you mean why do fucked up idiots have kids? I see, well now I can sympathize with you.

I suppose I should stop assuming everyone my age has a brain and can stay alive in the wealthiest society in history without dragging everyone else down with them.

OO;; 20 is way too young to be having kids. 25 would be okay, or even better, 30. After you've actually gotten some life experience, you know?

i've got a cousin who just turned 20 and he's a loving caring father prob more so than i could ever have been, his son is a lucky child to have a father like that. it all comes down to the individual themselves, life expierience isn't gained by years on the earth it's by what you've done.

I know why they rehired her. My friend Josh, who I used to work with, once said to me "It's all these god damn kids. People's kids are stealing our hours!" That sort of sums it up, but to elaborate -these retards are making people feel sorry for them. They tell some sob story about how they:

Quote
have eight credit cards, both parents have new car payments they can barely affod, she work 60+ hours a week, the husband works well over 80+ hours a week, a major druggie, NO high school diploma
and instead of pointing out that those things are ALL THEIR OWN FAULT, the employers feel sorry for them.

If it really makes you mad, do what Josh did. He systematically eliminated those people from our job. He made a list of the three or four employees he deemed worthless. Every time those people screwed up anything at all, no matter how pointless, he would make sure everybody knew, including management. It wasn't hard to do, as people like that usually screw up a lot (as evidenced by their lifestyle). It only took him about 2 months to get all of those people fired or laid off.

Then that boy is one damn lucky individual. I can agree that it does come down to each individual person, but I can also quite fairly say that rarely does it turn out well for anyone to have children early, for them or their children.

And the more years on earth, the more that can be accomplished.
