Aye, a poor choice of words that was, shoulda been hardware. The physical system is chock full of next gen goodies.

But if you don't care about the "next gen goodies", you shouldn't waste your money because the games just aren't there.

And even if there were a few good ones to make it even competitive for games, it still doesn't justify a $600 price tag.

If true, Sony is officially the most retarded company EVAR! By 2009, unless they start some l337ly awesome system packs, Sony will be up the creek without a paddle. It would have been cheaper for them to just wait to release the thing in 2009

For some odd reason I have to agree with you on this.  What with the number of things we both have in common when it comes to interests, I cant see where you running Sony would be any worse then who they have now.
